Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst – Systems and Processes serves as the critical link between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into innovative, practical IT solutions. This role involves deep collaboration with both business units and technical teams to understand business processes, gather and document requirements, and deliver solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with BDMs and Sales Finance Leaders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both business and IT stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

2. Requirements Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of business processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Validate business requirements and translate them into clear and concise specifications for IT development teams.

3. Solution Design & Recommendation:

  • Collaborate with IT architects and developers to design solutions that meet business requirements and integrate with existing systems.
  • Evaluate potential solutions, considering technology capabilities and business priorities.
  • Recommend technology solutions and business process improvements that deliver value.

4. Project Management Support:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and management of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and report on status to business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

5. Quality Assurance & Testing:

  • Define testing plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues during testing phases, ensuring high-quality delivery.

6. Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and enhance existing processes, systems, and documentation standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and IT.

7. Training & Support:

  • Provide training and support to business users during and after implementation.
  • Develop user manuals, training materials, and other documentation to assist with system adoption.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong emphasis on bridging business and IT functions.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in business analysis methodologies.
  • SAP implementation experience is desired.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems, databases, and data analysis tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive decision-making across diverse teams.
