The Assistant Manager of Digital Marketing will have a passion for social media and a good understanding of relevant tools and technologies, including Facebook, Instagram and other emerging social websites. This individual will support the introduction of new and innovative ways to use social media for marketing and communications purposes. Suppport the agenda for digital marketing efforts including website, email marketing and online advertising. In addition to Digital Media, this position will be responsible for supporting the company’s E-commerce initiatives.

60% - Strategic Planning/Pipeline Development:

  • Support the development and execution of strategic digital plans, both short and long term, to drive sales and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Contribute to the execution of the digital and social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Work closely with the Brand Management team on understanding brand target & positioning
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Develop relevant and insightful content for social media on a daily/weekly basis
  • Consistently monitor all social media channels to communicate, interact and engage with users, encourage loyalty and foster conversation with potential clients
  • Track, measure and report on social media analytics and work with Consumer Insights team to utilize social media analytics and insights
  • Engage with the Marketing team to understand requirements for utilizing social media channels, aggregating content and campaigns and adapting contents to specifically cater to each social media channel
  • Identify digital media trends, tactics and opportunities
  • Support the management of corporate websites
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to participate in the planning and execution of digital media projects, such as email marketing, online advertising, and more
  • Work with the Sales team on e-commerce initiatives with retailer platforms

20% - Strengthen & Build Digital Process

  • Build strong relationships with the U.S. digital team and leverage U.S. CAG expertise
  • Strengthen and continually build strong digital credibility/profile within the organization

20% - Admin Support

  • Ensure all projects are managed in a timely manner
  • Monitor digital budget and track associated expenses in Allocadia; reconciling invoices against approved projects
  • Potential Career Progression:

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • 1-3+ years of digital experience in a similar role with communication, social media marketing and/or digital media experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Digital Marketing, Communications, Media Studies and/or Design
  • Strong consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Strong social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, web design, web development, CRO and SEO and social media platforms
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Creative thinker that demonstrates initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and project management skills
  • Team player that thrives in both group and individual projects
