Responsible for Arterra Wines Canada National Demand Planning performance and team of direct reports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Constellation Brands Canada National Demand Planning Team
  • Champion a National Demand Driven organizational philosophy
  • Institutionalize Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, tools and communications in all regions for demand planning collaboration and cascade
  • Lead the development of the initial volumetric view for budget plan, utilizing sales history and inputs from Marketing & Sales via collaborative planning sessions
  • Active role in creating Latest Estimates & Plan for Sales Volumes in addition to facilitating meetings, in order to drive one organizational direction through realistic alignment with Marketing & Sales
  • Initiate improvement ideas to streamline the business and improve processes enabling the best possible demand forecast (Brand, Regional, Channel and National – “best in class”)
  • Lead, national with channel focused analysis eliminating deviation (bias and error) out of Demand planning and reporting meaningful information to better enable the business
  • Business Process Owner/Subject Matter Expert for JDA Demand – lead, support, recommend and enable decisions on process enhancement to current tools/reports
  • Monitor key performance indicators
  • Build and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures for JDA Demand
  • Track adherence and compliance to standard operating procedures
  • Lead monthly demand management meetings as well as any other ad hoc quota review meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to join all financial, forecast, and sales reporting systems
  • Summarize & report actionable information to senior management
  • Own Demand Forecasting Unit bias, Mean Absolute Percentage Error Performance and Forecast Value Add
  • Support NPD (New Product Development) process
  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction for four direct reports

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or College degree in supply chain management or related field or relevant professional designation (i.e. APICS, CPIM)
  • 3-5 years demand planning or production planning experience
  • End to End Supply Chain Management
  • Integrated Business Planning
  • Sales and Operations Planning
  • Leading teams both directly and indirectly
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative Demand Planning process and tools
  • Proven technical skills in Demand Planning Software (JDA strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of ERP tools sets (J.D. Edwards an asset)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to build, maintain and continually enhance relationships; including at a distance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • SMART Goal and Target setting, monitoring and cascading
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Benchmarking
  • Ability to travel 4-6 times per year within Canada
