Home Appliances Sales Specialist

We are looking for SalesSpecialiststorepresent the market leader within the Major Appliance industry.Theideal candidate must be energetic, professional, and be looking to expand their sales skills and career!Youwill be representing market leading brands in a major Canadian retailer. Looking to grow your sales skills? We provide market-leading training to prepare you for a career in sales.

Your role is to take the consumers through the full sales cycle. This includes asking any qualifying questions in order to recommend the best matching appliance, demonstrating its key features and benefits, and closing the sale. From there you will hand off qualified and ready to purchase consumers to store associates to complete the purchase.

Program Details

  • Generating sales within theappliancedepartment of a major home improvement retailer
  • Working within a competitive sales environment
  • Building lasting professional relationships with store personnel
  • Interacting withconsumers at the retail level
  • Asking qualifying questions, providing detailed product information and closing sales
  • Providing detailed product information and demonstrations
  • Engaging in ongoing product knowledge and training
  • Participating in Weekly and Monthly training seminars
  • On-going training of store associates will be provided

What We Expect

  • A general understanding of major appliances – if you’ve had to buy one before, that’s great!
  • Proven ability to drive retail sales and provide a superior customer service experience
  • The ability to deliver client's brand messaging as per approved guidelines

Program dates & Schedule

  • Start Date: Immediately
  • End Date: April 1, 2018
  • Saturdays 10:30am-5:00pm
  • Sundays 10:30am-6:00pm
  • 13 hours per week


  • Must be able to work every weekend for the duration of your contract
  • A warm & engaging personality, with the ability to make the sales space a welcoming environment
  • Attention to detail & the ability to multi-task
  • Access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
  • Retail experience is an asset, specifically within the sales and merchandising space
