Job Description

General Summary:

Develop sales in Ontario Region non-commercial accounts (Food Service & healthcare) branded and private labels for juice and food. The Key Account Manager will be working from their home based office in Ontario where the bulk of the business is generated.

Key Activities:

  • Manage the day to day work, meet and/or exceed sales & profitability objectives in the Ontario market with non-commercial accounts, through business development, innovation distribution and contract execution.
  • 70% of time will be spent on the road selling to operators and regional chains, food service distributors etc.
  • Work to expand the Ontario food service regional non-commercial accounts, to increase the list of Foodservice customers.
  • Develop the sales by presenting our existing and new products to the Ontario regional non-commercial chains.
  • Approach customers with concept and ideas that are solutions for their beverage and food needs in branded and private label
  • Work closely with Marketing Mondiv & Lassonde Specialties on new food items & work closely with Senior Director, National Accounts.
  • Work with National & Regional Key Account Managers to get the distributors listing compliance, work with the Ontario regional team for foodservice & healthcare trade shows, customer presentations and account blitz
  • Communicate competitive information on industry

Education and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a food service position
  • B.Com (Business/Marketing or Finance)
  • Good knowledge of the foodservice and Healthcare industry (distributors, regional and national chains pertaining to health care segment and/or nutrition)

Competencies

  • Demonstrates good general computer skills (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc)
  • Good Knowledge of CPG & Healthcare Industry
  • To have a good understanding of Lassonde Trade, Marketing, R&D, P&L and production process
  • Very self-sufficient and motivating
  • Result oriented
  • Client Oriented and focused
