Category Analyst – CONTRACT for Maternity
Analyst will leverage category, consumer, and shopper insights to aid in the
development of execution strategies on price, promotion, distribution and shelf
in order to enhance Lassonde and Customers category performance. This role is a
challenge to both your influencing and negotiation skills as well as your
- Responsible for
developing executable strategic and tactical action plans for the assigned customer.
- Provides category
analysis and business insights to the customer in the areas of promotion,
pricing, assortment and shelving to improve overall category performance and

strategies of the competitive set
- Collaborate with
the Key Account Management Team and Marketing team to source the Consumer
Research and tools required to ensure Lassonde’s success in the Market place.
- Develop long term,

the customer establish KPIs and reporting to track these and present to the Account
Manager on a monthly basis.
- Understanding of
the Private Label environment is an asset.
- Provides insightful
research and analysis to the planogram development process and execute the
customer’s shelving and assortment strategies that will drive category growth
using space management software and analytics meeting all customer timelines.
- Maintains Space
Management software upgrades and creates and maintains a Database to ensure
accurate and influential analytics and product attributes (including live

Understanding of Retailer
Specific (Aimia, DunnHumby, Precima, Aztec), AC Nielsen, Workstation Plus, Data
Analysis a must.
Experience with developing
planograms and using Space Management software and analytical tools is a must.
Space Management database maintenance and analysis is required
Strong business acumen,
self-motivated and a willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
