We are very excited to share the news that Gay Lea Foods has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers 2011.

This is not the first time that Gay Lea has been recognized as a top em-ployer. This award comes after three consecutive years of our co-operative being named among the top GTA employers and last year also making it on to the list of top 100 companies in Canada.

In 2008, we celebrated 50 years of bringing you the best the industry has to offer. Over the years, our innovative products have created new trends in the Canadian marketplace. In the 1960s we were the first to bring frozen cheesecake to your table. We soon followed with whipped cream in aerosol containers, and the fun began! In 2005 our spreadable butter put an end to shredded toast and in 2006 our Nordica single serve fruit bottom cottage cheese won the consumer choice award for Best New Product in the dairy category.
